Attempting to pick the right headphones which have a low price tag is often a frustrating task. That is if you're also seeking good quality headphones. The risk associated with choosing bad headphones in the price range up to fifty dollars is noticeably greater than in the range of more expensive models. 99% of those headphones are now being produced in China or various other parts of Asia, and sadly, the product quality is sometimes not too good. Even many of the earphones by well known manufacturers provide terrible quality of sound. Let’s look into some of the best affordable headphones you can possibly get.

The Koss PortaPro over-ear headphones are undoubtedly one of the most popular headphones ever designed. They were initially produced in 1984, and they continue to belong to the best-selling earphones. Their style is often being seen as old-school. You're either going to like that style or dislike it. The Koss PortaPro provide a reasonable quality of sound for a good deal. Of course, the quality of sound might be better, however the chances of getting better sounding earphones for such a low price is rather small. Another thing really worth bringing up is PortaPro’s portability; the headpiece is collapsible so that it is possible to fit these headphones in your pocket. To protect and to prolong the life span of the headphones, you may insert them in a travel case which they ship with. The cost of the Koss PortaPros is normally set around thirty five dollars. PortaPro are one of the best cheap headphones!

Another model I would like to write about will be the Sennheiser PX-100. With a price tag of just about sixty dollars, not everybody may think that they are affordable headphones. Even when you cannot find them with a reduced price, they're always well worth the extra cash. In my opinion, they sound a lot better than the Koss PortaPro, but people who like deep bass sounds should look somewhere else because these headphones deliver less bassy sound. Just like the PortaPro, the Sennheiser PX-100 headphones are collapsible, which enhances their mobility. Once again, similarly to the PortaPros, the PX-100s ship with a protective travel case. This time, the case is constructed of plastic.

So far, we've discussed over-ear headphones; now we will take a look at in-ear headphones (or ear buds). A specific unit I would suggest will be the Sony MDR-XB40EX. With a price tag of forty dollars, you cannot make a mistake with these ear buds. They provide great quality of sound with nice deep bass. Despite the fact that I favor more natural sound, I did enjoy the sound of these ear buds. They really feel very comfy (at least for me personally); they also include 3 distinct silicon buds to choose from. Other point worthy of mentioning is the cord; it's a tangle-free cord; with other headphones, it had been often a serious challenge to untangle the bothersome cables. Similarly to the two previously mentioned headphones, the Sony MDR-XB40EX ship with a neat travel case.I sincerely think that you will not make a mistake, if you decide to purchase one of those earphones. To be safe and sound, I definitely recommend trying all these devices in your nearby audio store prior to buying them. Things might be a little different at some other shops, however in my nearby shop they do not let folks to try the earbuds which is logical.
